Course Review Process Policy
Course Review is a key part of the The CPD Accreditation Office’s quality assurance and enhancement framework. It provides an opportunity for review, reflection and evaluation of the delivery of a course and the performance of students and allows the College to fulfil its responsibilities for maintaining the standards of its awards. CR is underpinned by the use of qualitative and quantitative evidence and is critical to identifying issues, risks and actions for improvement and enhancement. CR is comprised of five stages:
Consideration by the Boards of Study (BoS) of the courses and modules for which they have responsibility and completion of the CR
Consideration and endorsement of CR Course Reports by the School Teaching and Learning Committees
Consideration of Course and reports at the Annual Enhancement Event
Preparation of an overview report of the ACR process for consideration by the The CPD Accreditation Office Education Committee
